ECTH2016 will be held at the World Forum in The Hague, Churchillplein 10, 2517JW The Hague. Please click here to visit the website of the WF.
The Hague boasts an excellent public transport system. Over 30 buses and tramlines will take you quickly and safely to your destination in and around The Hague.

The official language of the congress is English.
The weather in September in The Hague is considered mild and pleasant with maximum temperatures of 22-25°C which can drop to an average of 5-10°C. In addition, rain is a common phenomenon in The Netherlands though it never lasts long.
During ECTH attire should be smart casual and rather elegant than sporty.

Please note that The Netherlands has various entry visa requirements. Please check with your local agent or embassy which requirements (if any) would apply.
All participants will receive a personal badge upon registration. You are kindly requested to wear this badge when attending any scientific session or conference related event. Only participants who are wearing their name badge will be admitted to the meeting rooms, the exhibition area and the poster sessions.
Lost and Found
Items that are found by World Forum or ECTH staff will be brought to the Reception Desk of World Forum. Should you have lost any of your personal belongings, we kindly ask you to visit this desk to report it or to pick up items.
WIFI is available in all break-out rooms and public spaces of the World Forum.

Payment of the Registration Fee
If the registration fee has not been paid before the congress starts, please go to the Registration Desk, show a copy of your registration confirmation and pay the missing amount there. You can only pay in cash or with credit card (VISA/MasterCard/AMEX).
Safety and Insurance
As in all major cities, people should be aware of safety risks. You are advised not to wear your conference badge outside congress activities. It is highly recommended that all participants carry adequate personal travel and health insurance. The organizers do not accept responsibility for individual medical, travel or personal insurance.
Smoking is prohibited inside the building. You are allowed to smoke outside, please remember to take your name badge with you.
The official currency in the Netherlands is the Euro (€). Foreign currency can be exchanged at banks, which are usually open from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 18:00. On Saturday banks are open from 9:30 to 16:00.
